In 2024 werkt BRIK samen met dansgezelschap de Stilte in het Europese onderzoeksproject BABEL
BABEL is a collaborative project between 14 European partners working in the field of theatre for youth. BABEL works towards researching the communication process, intercultural dialogue and the cultivation of mutual understanding in creating Performing Arts for a young audience.
During the BRIK Festival, workshops will take place within the framework of Project BABEL for performers from the involved partners together with four selected participants from the international network of ASSITEJ, the International Association of Theater for Children and Young People. Actors, dancers, musicians and mimes will join each other.
The workshops end with a presentation for interested parties and an audience of children.
